Lisa Bell
Managing Director

MRS. LISA BELL has been the Managing Director of the National Export- Import Bank of Jamaica Limited since May 2010. She is a qualified professional with over twenty-five years of experience in providing financial, analytical and managerial expertise in both the private and public sectors. Having held key management positions in the Jamaican financial services sector and with Jamaica’s national investment and export promotion agency Jamaica Trade and Invest and now as Managing Director of the EXIM Bank, she brings a unique combination of technical skills at the macro, meso and micro levels in areas relating to the business environment. Having worked with multinational and multilateral organisations she also brings an international perspective relevant to providing benchmarks and best practices required for business competitiveness.

With sound interpersonal and communication skills and a positive public and professional image, Mrs. Bell has been successful in developing, maintaining, and leveraging strategic private and public sector stakeholder relationships.

Geta Write-Jarrett
General Manager - Finance & Information Technology

MRS. GETA WRIGHT-JARRETT has been the General Manager for the Finance Division at the National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica since 1995.  She has held the position of Financial Controller at various private and public sector companies since 1979. She was a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies over the period 1976 – 1991.

Mrs. Wright-Jarrett is a chartered accountant who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Upper Second Class Honours in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, and Master of Science Degree in Accounting also from the University of the West Indies.

Maria Burke
General Manager - Legal and Corporate Secretarial Division

MS. MARIA BURKE has been the Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the National Export–Import Bank of Jamaica Limited since March 2014. An Attorney-at-Law, called to the Jamaican Bar in 2008, Ms. Burke is also a professionally accredited Corporate Secretary. For over five years, Ms. Burke was an Associate in the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Department at the law firm DunnCox. As a Litigator, her primary areas of practice were Corporate and Commercial Litigation, with primary experience in banking, finance and securities related matters.

A graduate of the Norman Manley Law School and the University of the West Indies, Ms. Burke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science and a Master of Science degree in Governance and Public Policy, in addition to a Bachelor of Laws. She is also a trained Mediator with the Dispute Resolution Foundation and formerly sat as a Director of the Board of the Dispute Resolution Foundation. Additionally, Ms. Burke tutored the course Law, Governance, Economy and Society at the University of the West Indies for several years.

Ms. Burke is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.

Carl Reid
General Manager - Internal Audit

MR. CARL REID has served as the Chief Internal Auditor at EXIM Bank since January 2016. His academic credentials include the MSc Accounting (UWI), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designations. He is also an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Mr. Reid has approximately sixteen years of audit and accounting experience. Prior to joining EXIM Bank, he spent almost a decade working in both the Caribbean and North America with the Big 4 Accounting firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and Ernst & Young (EY). This experience includes performing external, internal and IT audits and culminated in leading a regional team of IT Auditors in Jamaica and Barbados. Mr. Reid also spent four years working as a full-time lecturer teaching financial accounting, management accounting and auditing at the University of the West Indies.

Stephanie Murdock
General Manager - Human Resource & Administration

  MRS. STEPHANIE MURDOCK has been employed at the National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica Limited since June 2014. She has established herself as a qualified and proven professional with over sixteen years of experience in human resource and administrative management within the public sector, particularly as it relates to industrial relations, recruitment and selection, and training and development.  Mrs. Murdock has worked in key positions in central government most notably, as Acting Senior Director- Human Resource Management at the Jamaica Constabulary Force and as Senior Director of Human Resource and Administration at the Ministry of Justice.

Mrs. Murdock, who has pursued graduate and post graduate certification both locally and internationally in her field, was employed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade as the Director of Human Resource Management prior to joining the EXIM Bank team.

Mrs. Murdock was selected to participate in the 2015 Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders' Dialogue (CCELD) which brings together high-calibre mid-career individuals from across the Caribbean and Canada for leadership exchange.

Dunstan Morgan
General Manager - Risk Management

 

Mr. Dunstan Morgan has been General Manager of the Risk and Compliance Division since May 2017. He has over 35 years’ experience in the fields of credit risk assessment (corporate and retail), delinquency management, enterprise risk management, compliance and project management, having held related positions in commercial & merchant banking and other segments of the financial sector.

He worked with National Commercial Bank, Mutual Security Bank and Mutual Security Merchant Bank where he held senior positions at these institutions. He also spent seven years in the Co-operative Credit Union Movement; and his last posting was head of the Credit Unions’ Risk and Compliance Unit of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Ltd where he had oversight responsibility for over thirty credit unions.

Mr. Morgan holds an MBA issued jointly, by the University of Wales and the University of Manchester. He has formal training in banking, being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.

Lenworth Tracey
General Manager - Trade and Commercial Lending Division

MR. LENWORTH TRACEY has served in the financial services industry in several capacities for some eighteen years, with over ten years of executive management engagement in domestic and regional institutions in both the private and public sectors.

He has worked as Commercial Bank Branch Manager and Building Society General Manager for CIBC Building Society and his career in the financial sector includes voluntary service to the Credit Union movement in Jamaica, serving on the Credit Committee of then GSB Cooperative Credit in the early 2000s and more recently (2014), on the Credit Committee for COK Sodality Credit Union.

Mr. Tracey has also had assignments as both Director and General Manager of the Building Society subsidiary with operating and reporting responsibility to the regional bank’s Country Manager, its Board of Directors and the local regulators.
