New US$10 million Line of Credit Facility from Sovereign Bank, USA, to EXIM Bank

Jamaica’s EXIM Bank recently accepted an offer of a US$10.0 million Letter of Credit Facility from Sovereign Bank in the USA.  According to Mrs Pamella McLean CD,  Managing Director of EXIM Bank, “The facility is intended to help ease the liquidity squeeze which local manufacturers are experiencing because of the virtual ‘drying-up’ of overseas suppliers’ credit brought on by current upheavals in global economic and financial conditions.”

SRC and EXIM Bank Collaborate to Boost Production in Agro-Industry

The National Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of Jamaica and the Scientific Research Council (SRC) are collaborating to provide a special facility, aimed at boosting production, particularly in agro-industry.

Butch Hendrickson Appointed New Chairman at EXIM Banks AGM

At the 21st Annual General Meeting for the National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica Ltd (EXIM Bank), held on Monday, December 3, 2007, Mr Gary Craig “Butch” Hendrickson was officially vested with the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr Hendrickson has operational control of the family owned Continental Bakery.
