Butch Hendrickson Appointed New Chairman at EXIM Banks AGM
At the 21st Annual General Meeting for the National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica Ltd (EXIM Bank), held on Monday, December 3, 2007, Mr Gary Craig “Butch” Hendrickson was officially vested with the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr Hendrickson has operational control of the family owned Continental Bakery.
The other newly appointed board members were announced as follows: Mr Douglas Archibald, Mr Michael Ammar Jr. operator of the Ammars retail chain, former banker Mr Albert Webb, Mr Omar Azan president of the Jamaica Manufacturers Association and CEO of BOSS Furniture, Mrs Marjorie Kennedy president of the Jamaica Exporters Association and Mr Geoffrey Zaidie. Mrs Sandra Glasgow, Executive Director of the PSOJ was reappointed from the previous board while Mrs Pamella Mclean, Managing Director, continues to serve as a non-retiring director. The board now stands as a nine member body, compared to its predecessor which carried eleven members.
This change ended an 18 year term for the out-going Chairman, Dr. The Honourable Owen Jefferson OJ, CD. The previous members of the board were Mr Paul Thomas CD, Miss Nicole Allen, Mr Winston Carr CD, Miss Carina Cockburn, Mrs Sandra Glasgow, Mrs Beverley Lopez OJ, CD, Mrs Maisie O’Reggio-Alexander CD, Mr Devon Rowe and Mr Donovan Stanberry.
